This is the second release of Bowmore's Devil's Casks single malt Scotch whisky, the first of which was released in 2013 (and proved very popular indeed). This small batch release was matured exclusively in first fill Sherry casks, giving it an extraordinary ruby hue and stupendous flavour profile. The story behind these releases features a tale of the Devil visiting Islay, being chased away by an angry mob. To escape, the Devil hid in a cask of Bowmore whisky destined for the mainland!
