The Art of Whisky Mc'Pink Arbroath 2013 House of McCallum

€53,50
Taxe inclu.

House of McCallum decided to celebrate the 700th anniversary of the Arbroath Declaration with a special limited release of 700 bottles per brand across the Art of Whiskey range. We ordered Exclusive Art for this special occasion with Ashley Cook for the McPink, Simon Laurie for the Mc Warrior, Murray Robertson for McPeat and Archibald D Mackintosh for Mc Elegance & Mc o'Isles. Celebration of Robert the Bruce and the chieftains who signed the letter to Pope John XXII in France declaring that Scotland is indivisible and united as a country in Europe.
For this occasion, the whiskey had to be exclusive with the release of 5 different vintages. Mc Pink with a beautiful and powerful Port cask vintage 2013, like Robert the Bruce, Mc'O'sles a vatting of Highland Park and Scapa Orkney malts finished in Corton Renardes Burgundy wine barrels, marking the link with France to the era. Mc Warrior, a beautiful 2008 Glenburgie finished in an organic Burgundy wine barrel. McElegance, a classically distilled Speyside Macallan finished in a Burgundy Monthelie 1er Cru cask. Mc Peat, a 2010 vintage of an unnamed Islay Single Malt, with all the refined and peaty character one expects. A rough, grassy and mineral Islay, matured in a Bourbon cask. Celebration of Scotland and the Clans in 1320. On April 6, 1320, which coincidentally is also my birthday, this historic constitutional letter was signed and united the Scottish Kingdom.
